Replace a lost or stolen Swift card

Lost cards 

If your card is registered online, the quickest way to get a replacement is by signing in to your account and selecting the card you want to replace. This includes older person's and disabled person’s travel passes.

If you don’t have a Swift account or you haven’t registered your card, you can also use our online portal. Alternatively, if your card isn’t registered online, you can contact Customer Services.   

The replacement fee for your card is £7.50.

Your new card will arrive within 5 working days.

Your original card will be permanently blocked and no longer valid for travel. 

If your Swift card number begins with 633597 0112, this means it was issued by National Express, so we’re unable to replace it. You’ll need to contact them directly.

Stolen cards 

If your card has been stolen, report the theft to the police and get a Crime Reference Number.

You can then request a replacement card by contacting Customer Services. You will need to provide your crime reference number. 
 
A free replacement card will arrive within 5 working days.

While you wait 

If you need to continue to travel while you wait for your new card to arrive, you will need to purchase additional tickets to cover your journey.

If you don’t receive your new card within 5 working days, contact Customer Services. 

Frequently asked questions  

We have removed the under 16 cards so these cannot be replaced. Children who are under 16 but look older can apply for a free child photocard to prove their age and still get child fares. 

Your current card will be blocked and can’t be used.

We’ll send a new card with your ticket reloaded, valid until the original expiry date.
