What’s happening?
Severn Trent Water need to carry out repairs to a water main on the A34 Stratford Road in Sparkbrook.
During this work, the A34 Stratford Road will be closed to traffic in both directions between Kyotts Lake Road and Braithwaite Road.
The closure will be in place until 8 October.
Diversion for traffic
During the closure of the A34 Stratford Road, traffic will need to follow signed diversions which will take drivers via Walford Road, Golden Hillock Road, Small Heath Highway and Bordesley Middleway.
Bus Services
Due to the closure of Stratford Road bus services will be diverted, and will not serve stops on Stratford Road between Highgate Road and Camp Hill Circus, for the duration of the closure.
Affected services: National Express West Midlands 2, 3, 4, 4A, 5 & 6
